Louisa takes great pleasure in developing her portraiture work and has produces a series of large-scale, dramatic celebrity portraits.
They ar equite unique in stylistic terms and represent a fusion of realism with design and pattern based elements. They are painted in acrylics, metallic colours and enamel with the addition of a final protective layer using acrylic matt medium.
Flowers are a constant theme in Louisa's painting and she skilfully incorporates natural forms in many of her pieces.
