Flowers are a constant theme in Louisa's painting and she skilfully incorporates natural forms in many of her pieces. These artworks are the original flower paintings, stripped away from an accompanying manmade vase, natural earth or even other stems or flowers, resulting in a minimal but visually striking composition. 

 

She personally benefits from painting nature while living in bustling cities like London; focusing on recreating the  stillness and unmoving beauty in flowers really is a calming experience which is proved to be very rewarding.

Each artwork are large acrylic or oil paintings, some are created using a palette knife only and some only with paintbrushes.
